When will CCO have a full course & some practice exams for the ICD-10?

I would say that they will have them out soon but not before the end of August on some practice exams. The full course will take longer because we are limited if we want to use the AAPCs curriculum. They are not going to release it to us for a while. Doing one from scratch takes longer. There are some other options. We will keep you informed on the progress.

People are anxious but we do have time. ICD-10 is not as hard as some think. If you are a certified ICD-9 coder you will not have any trouble with the switch.

I think that some employers will be looking for people who know both ICD-9 and ICD-10. Am I correct?

It seems that I have caught the coding bug as well . . . LOL! When that ICD-10 assessment test comes out, I plan to take it in the first two or three weeks.

They are going to want you to know both code sets. That is correct.
