Blitz Practice exam instructions

Please read these instructions in their entirety – it will save you frustration.

Instructions:

  • Number of questions: 60
  • Has no time limit, but is timed
  • Will allow you to save and finish at a later date.
  • Questions displayed per page: 10
  • Will allow you to go back and change your answers.
  • Will not let you finish with any questions unattempted.
  • Has a passing mark of: 70%

 

1. We recommend that you plan enough time to finish the whole test. Take your test in Chrome web browser.  You may need to clear Cookies and Cache

 

2. Printing an exam.

 

3. SAVE & RESUME FUNCTION

a. There is a way to Save and Resume the test .

b. Choose Save and finish later button found at the bottom of the window. Do not use the link (at the top of the window), as that will not save your answers but will restart the test from the beginning.

 

Click Save and finish later.

 

After you click on the Save and finish later button, click Confirm finish later button.

 

You will know that the test has been saved successfully, and you can finish it later if you see the “Test is saved” confirmation success screen.

 

c. The next time you access the test, enter your name and identical email address (that you originally used). Hit the Start button, and you will be asked if you want to start over or resume the test. Choose Resume to pick up where you left off previously.

 

4. GETTING SCORE & RATIONALE

         a. When you finish the test, click on Submit Your Answers at the bottom of the test.

b. The rationales to each question can be seen by scrolling. We recommend that you leave this window open until you are finished reviewing the explanations, as there is no way to save or print.

 c. Your instructor will e-mail you.

NOTE: To get rationales you must enter your answers from your printed exam into the online exam version!

 

5. CAN I TAKE THE TEST AGAIN

a. The Blitz exam is set up so you can take it 5 times, but they will be the same    questions.

6. WHAT IF I DISAGREE WITH AN ANSWER

a. If you have a question about a test answer, please take a screenshot (e.g. using Snipping Tool, which comes with Windows or use Jing (free download for Windows or Mac), and send it to helpdesk@codingcertification.org. Email the screenshot, along with the name of the test, so that we can resolve the issue.
