No Workplace Support Policy

Effective September 28th, 2017, CCO no longer provides technical support or assistance for students trying to access our courses, video or content at their place of work.

This change was implemented in order to:

  1. Respect and protect the established security policies of the student’s workplace.
  2. Protect the student from tampering with workplace computer equipment that can lead to warnings or even termination.
  3. Protect the student from viewing unauthorized content in the workplace that can lead to warnings or even termination.

If you’re a student that is unable to access our content from your workplace, you must contact your onsite IT Department for assistance.

Alternatives for Accessing Content On-The-Go:

  • Use free Wi-Fi at a local coffee shop, library, grocery store or other business.

  • Use HotSpots. Some internet providers like Comcast provide free Wi-Fi HotSpot in various businesses and area. You simply need to login with your Comcast username and password.
  • Use Mobile/Cellular Data: If your smartphone or tablet is equipped with internet data, you can access our training on-the-go. Please keep in mind this can result in data overages and charges. Please contact your cell phone provider for more information.

Important Note: Please keep in mind that the alternatives above may offer slower internet speeds that will result in frozen or choppy video playback. Also, the solutions above can have some blocks in place that can prevent you from accessing some of our services.
