certification

Hello all,
I am looking for some answers and hope you can give it to me. I have my Associates in Medical billing and coding but not certified. I would like to get certified but not looking to start courses again. Can someone tell me how to get in study mode to take the coding certification test without having to take classes all over again. Or how to retrain my brain and get familiarize with coding to take the exam. Any suggestions would be grateful.

You don't have to take classes all over again. You can use the Blitz Video Review to help you review your coding, https://www.cco.us/medical-coding-certification-cpc-review-blitz. You can also order practice exams and practice until you can get at least 85% or higher. Here are links to some of the practice exams: Free 50 Question CPC Practice Exam https://www.cco.us/free-cpc-online-practice-exam and 150 Question CPC Practice Exam https://www.cco.us/cpc-practice-exam/. You can go on AAPC and get the Official CPC Certification Study Guide https://www.aapc.com/training/cpc-study-guide.aspx along with the Online Practice Exam https://www.aapc.com/training/practice-exams.aspx#cpc. When I took my CPC exam in 2011, I went with AAPC Study Guide and Practice Exam before I knew anything about CCO. Had I known about CCO, I would have passed with a high score. When I get ready to study for my CCS which is one of the exams that my school offer, I am going to use the Blitz Video Review to help me prepare for that exam as the CCS exam is one of the hardest exams to take. Hope this helps.
