Good Afternoon/Evening All,
I'm lost and do not know what to do. I have a claim for UHC and need help on trying to locate the correct CPT code for lactation support. My claims get denied using CPT Code 99404 (I'm being told it's not the appropriate code that can be used by a provider that is not in-network. I was also told that you cannot use any modifier with the code either. A corrected claim was requesting using the appropriate CPT Code).
Can someone please help me out in this regards as to what is the correct CPT Code to use for UHC on lactation services I will appreciate it.
