Q&A Chat on FB or twitter

Is the chat on Facebok or twitter? I have a hard time seeing all of the chat during the webinar while I am listening and taking notes. Last month I tried to use Facebook with the webinar but could not figure it out. What are the steps to join in that way? I am just getting back onto Facebook and there are many new things now to learn there, which is great except I do not excel in social media. I need Boyd to come set me up..LOL
Thank you for your help, Roberta Peppler

CCO no longer does the webinar chat on twitter. You can chat with others on FB during the live event. It will still be hard to do everything at once -- listening, taking notes, and reading and responding to chat on FB. I think the most important thing is to listen and learn. If you have a question, write it in a comment on FB, or in the Questions area on gotowebinar.

The Facebook event can be accessed as follows.

Go to the Facebook CCO page: https://www.facebook.com/cco.us/
Towards the top of the page click on EVENTS
Look for this month's Q&A Webinar -- the events are listed by date. So for May 2016 webinar you will find it under May 19. CLICK on it.

This brings up a page for this event. Right at the top, click on: +GOING

I think you will get a notification when it starts but if not, go to the cco.us FB page, again, and it will be pinned to the top of the page, according to Boyd. You may also be able to find it in your FB newsfeed during the event.

You can also sign up for the regular gotowebinar link on the cco.us website. Here is the link: https://www.cco.us/free-medical-coding-webinar/
The video quality may be better there, but most of us think the FB video quality is fine.

To get the CEUs be sure to note the secret link that is given during the webinar. You need to go to the internet, using that link to get your CEUs. You cannot access it directly from Facebook.

You can't see all the chat questions that everyone asks on gotowebinar, just the ones that are answered. On FB you will see the comments that are made on the live webinar FB event page, and you won't see the ones answered on gotowebinar. It just depends what works best for you which you should use. Personally, I flip back and forth between the two, but I work here... ;) so that's my excuse!

The Facebook LIVE events are pinned to the top of the FB page once the LIVE event begins. I also post it in the event itself & have even shared to to fb groups. To get a notification reminder you must click you are going to the event. If you want your name listed as an attendee you must click going to the event. Once on the FB page click the post to activate the video & don't forget to turn up your sound. If you have a question or comment during the event just post a comment. We are also broadcasting LIVE on FB the monthly Q & A Webinar this week & it works the same way so don't forget to join us register now!

Ruth and Lori, you are so fast to reply. I was getting ready to reply to Roberta's excellent question, but my explanation would not have been nearly as clear as yours. I was just going to say paste this URL https://www.facebook.com/events/237639153283151/into your browser and sign in to FB.
I also just realized that I need to set up my profile on this forum. It is hard to keep track of where I have profiles set up. I am going to need to keep a spreadsheet and an introductory template so I don't have to reinvent the wheel every time I join a forum. Take care. I hope everyone is having a lovely day :)

This is just a little added link from AAPC https://www.aapc.com/compare/( I was on chat with them this morning) comparing CPC COC CIC and CRC certfications with additional links embedded for further information. However, Chandra did a fantastic job as always on the FB chat explaining the differences in the CPC COC and CIC. Enjoy the rest of the day!

I went there and it says page not found. Is anyone else getting that from the link? I am logged into my AAPC student account. Do they have a chat weekly? I heard some coders talk of a webinar, chat, video that goes on weekly, but I have not asked what it is or where they hear it at. I will next week at the AAPC mtg
Thanks for your info, Roberta
