At CCO, we pride ourselves on our customer and student support. We always strive to resolve all issues directly with students at every opportunity possible. Unfortunately, some students will pursue a Chargeback with their credit card company or bank before contacting us first for assistance.
If a student pursues a Chargeback on a purchase, we will respond to all bank inquiries in a timely manner and provide supporting documentation as needed. In addition, we will be unable to communicate with the student about their purchases during the investigation which can take up to 90 days to complete. Since Chargebacks are considered high-risk events that impact our financial relationship with our merchant, any existing student accounts or access will be immediately suspended and future purchases will be subject to cancellation.
If you accidentally filed a Chargeback, we recommend contacting your credit card company or bank to close the claim and, once we receive official notice of the closure, we will restore access without any adjustments to your access period after a $75 fee is paid for each Chargeback that was filed. This fee is to recover bank fees and labor costs associated with the Chargeback process.
We reserve the right to withdraw or block all existing and future access to our products when a Chargeback is filed, regardless of case status. If the original purchase granted access to CEUs, we also reserve the right to notify any respective certification boards about the unpaid acquisition of paid CEUs.
