How Many CEUs Does CCO Provide?

CCO always attempts to provide a minimum of 26 CEUs inside the CCO Club. The exact count can always be found at the top of the CCO Club web page. Sometimes we have a few more and sometimes, while we’re waiting for new CEU approval, they might fall slightly below. Our CEUs are accepted at the AAPC, AHIMA and QPro.

At the AAPC, CEUs need to be earned every 2 years and the highest CEU requirement is 52 CEUs for 5 or more credentials. 

Since we provide 26 CEUs and renew them yearly, this allows CCO Club members to earn a total of 52 possible CEUs (26 per year). For example:

• This year: earn 26 CEUs inside the CCO Club. 
• Next year: earn 26 more CEUs inside the CCO Club once they are renewed (CEU Index numbers will change)

Naturally, any CCO Club members that are attempting to earn more than 26 CEUs within a short period of time will experience frustration. We recommend earning your CEUs slowly over the allowed 2 year period to avoid experiencing the frustration and stress associated with bi-annual CEU renewal.
