Should I Get Multiple Credentials?

Question: Is it a good idea to get another credential soon after getting the CPC credential? Is it a good idea to take a credentialing course prior to obtaining another credential?

Answer: Additional credentials may be beneficial in a number of ways including:

• Negotiating salary increases.
• Increasing your value in your current workplace.
• Showing proficiency for a new a position that utilizes the nee credential. 

So, in our opinion, it’s never too soon to start studying for that next credential. Yes, it is always a good idea to take a full course related to a desired credential before sitting for the said credential, particularly if you don’t have experience in that area.
